Guest Poet: Vanessa Craven
Vanessa poet, writer, artist and multi-instrumentalist will be reading a selection of
poetry covering ‘fact’, ‘fiction’ and ‘fantasy’ from her book,
‘Under the Mop Top Tree’
She will also be performing two poems, ‘Winterline’ and ‘My Old Rav Four’ and
play ‘Forbidden Dance’, which won an awarded at the Australian Songwriters Association.
Vanessa hales from the foothills of the Himalayas in India and now resides in
Daylesford. She is a member of Moorabool Arts Group Network, and has jointly
published poetry and short stories with Moorabool Writers Craft. She is also a member
of Wombat Arts and Daylesford Regional Arts Collective.
